Poetry Initiatives
Inspired by children's poets such as Benjamin Zephaniah , Daniel Thompson, Carole Bromley, Rachel Piercey, Liz Brownlee and many others, Sally creates children's poems combining her desire to write, illustrate and raise children's curiosity about the natural world.
Her work is due to be part of a number of future poetry initiatives, which feature both adult and children's poems.

Exciting New Poetry Project - Kids at School in Nepal (KASIN) and Care Highway International
Kids at School in Nepal (KASIN) was founded in 2005 as a small charity and is making a big difference to the lives of hundreds of Nepali children. Care Highway International was founded in 1997 by Chris Morrison and supports youngsters in Morocco, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Botswana, USA and UK. All children have the right to good nutrition, healthcare and education. These charities are helping children from disadvantaged communities to realise their full potential.
After a very successful project initiated by Kathryn Beevor - 'Peak Poetry' - a collection of peak moments of the KASIN Project captured in poetry, Kathryn is launching a new anthology for children - 'Moon in the Morning'.

Every penny goes to charity. 'Moon in the Morning' (£10) will raise money for Kasin Charity and Care Highway International. A beautifully illustrated anthology for children - free P&P for UK pre-orders before publication around mid-Sept 2025. For further details contact Kathryn via Facebook or X@kathrynbeevor. Donations will be paid directly to the charity websites. (sponsored by the charity, Care Highway International).
Alongside other budding artists, I have been working with Kathryn to provide illustrations for poems and the production of a front cover.
