10th Day - 10 Sooty Terns
'Of late, we had noticed the numbers of seabirds had begun to dramatically increase. Over recent days they had started to come in off the sea in groups and were now appearing in all kinds of places, and that included our tin roof! Looking back at the island from the sea, especially early morning or at dusk, we had started to see the sooty terns coming together and circling in clouds, even at this early time, beginning to look like a large swarm of bees gathering over the top of the hill.' - Island to Island - From Somerset to Seychelles
